Shearwater Insurance Services

Shearwater Insurance provides insurance products to the equestrian industry and beyond, offering everything from horse insurance to home insurance.

Sarah takes on a Head of Marketing and Business Development role for the company, leading both strategic marketing and business growth campaigns.
EquiConsulting also took over all media buyer for the company in 2020.

Childeric Saddles 

EquiConsulting manages the social media for luxury French Sellier, Childeric Saddles UK.

As the relationship has developed, Sarah works more closely with the brand to support their rider sponsorship activation and PR.

Equine Planning 

Sister company to Equine Construction, Equine Planning launched in 2017 and offers a complete design and planning solution to the equestrian market.

We deployed and accelerated marketing campaign for the launch of the business and then integrated this in with Equine Construction. This resulted in a new, inter-lined, website in 2019.

Equine Construction 

Equine Construction are leaders in equestrian building, offering an end-to-end solution taking your dreams from design to completion.

EquiConsulting initially worked with Equine Construction to optimise their SEO and Google AdWord campaigns. Following the success of these projects Sarah took on the overall marketing, sponsorship management and business development for the company.

Empire Coachbuilders 

Together with our design partner Alice Whitney, EquiConsulting was engaged to design and produce a new website for leading horsebox manufactures Empire Coachbuilders. The brief required our team to look at a cleaner and more user friendly design.

Excite Rally Team 

Together with our design partner Alice Whitney, EquiConsulting was engaged to design and produce a new website for the UK’s only all-female rally driving team. The design needed to incorporate team GBR influences and be easily updatable whilst on the move.

EQUESTRIAN EVENTS

Little Downham International Horse Trials 

Sarah first started working with Little Downham Horse Trials in 2012 when the event was awarded its first CIC** and International status.  At this point Sarah was tasked with building a new website, running the social media channels and recruiting sponsors.

EquiConsulting/Sarah now works with the horse trials, Ely Eventing Centre and Tina Ure on a much bigger scale, including volunteer management, sponsorship management, full PR, marketing and social media support, as well as building and managing an online booking system in partnership with Delabond Technology.

Event Rider Masters

Sarah was part of the team delivering the social media coverage for the 2016 and 2017 ERM series.

Working both on-site at British events and remotely for the European legs providing Twitter commentary and engagement, Facebook content and Instagram support.

Monart Sale 

Ireland’s only elite event horse sale run by riders for riders. The sale, run by Niall Griffin, comprises a selection panel that is second to none with 5* riders and Olympian Niall, Polly Jackson and Bill Levett.

EquiConsulting were appointed in 2019 to take over social and media promotion and management of the event. 2020 saw a record-breaking year for the sale with overwhelming website statistics and the highest average sale price the sale had seen in its 11-year history.

Essex & Suffolk Hunt Team Chase 

Organised by members of the Stratford Hills Horse Trials committee, Sarah was asked to launch and run an Essex & Suffolk Team Chase Facebook page with the aim of boosting entries and spectators.

2019 saw record spectator numbers for the event and 2020 saw a record number of competitors despite the coronavirus pandemic.

Higham Races 

A first foray into the racing world, EquiConsulting has designed and built a new website for Higham Races, to host a new online ticketing system.

By taking over the PR and Social Media for the three Point-to-Point meets we have managed to increase advance ticket sales and bring the venue further into the 21st Century.

EQUESTRIAN ORGANISATIONS

British Eventing Organisers Association

EquiConsulting ran a series of Social Media and Customer Experience workshops for the British Eventing Organisers Association at the start of the 2017 season and continues to provide support and consultancy for a number of different British Eventing venues around the country.

2019 saw Sarah lead a Sponsorship & Commercial workshop and networking event for the BEOA, with attendees from within the association, governing bodies, EHOA, ERA and other disciplines.

Eventing Riders Association of GB & International – ERA

Sarah works directly with Bruce Haskell and Paul Tapner to support eventing riders around the world. Taking charge of communications and social media throughout the eventing season, plus managing charitable events such as the Australia Day fundraiser that was live
streamed around the world in 2020.

The Pony Club

EquiConsulting was approached by the Pony Club to consult on their approach to marketing and sponsorship. The short project saw EquiConsulting update their sponsorship strategy, revise sponsorship pitches and offer support on the direction for their overall marketing strategy.

Windrush Equestrian Foundation 

EquiConsulting were recommended to the Windrush Foundation in 2020 as the foundation looked to further raise awareness of their cause and goals and raise the profile of the riders within their programme.

Working alongside the wider Windrush team EquiConsulting has taken over social media management, PR and media management, as well as social and marketing coaching for the riders.

EQUESTRIAN ATHLETES

Imogen Murray – M.S. Team Eventing 

EquiConsulting manages all PR, Media and Sponsorship activities for Imogen Murray/M.S.Team Eventing.

This service extends to website development and management, content creation and social media management.  We travel to a number of the larger events to support the team both on site as well as remotely.

Austin O’Connor – Attington Sport Horses 

EquiConsulting was engaged by Attington Sport Horses and, Irish Olympian, Austin O’Connor to promote their new all-weather cross-country arena and produce an online booking system.

Alongside managing the arena booking remotely, EquiConsulting also supports the management of their existing website and social media presence.

Georgie Spence Eventing

Following a PR series in Horse & Hound, 4* winning eventing rider Georgie Spence joined the EquiConsulting roster of managed riders. Georgie has competed successfully at 5* level for a number of seasons and it a Nations Cup winning team GB rider.

NON- EQUESTRIAN CLIENTS

Little Bear’s Daycare Group 

Little Bear’s offers a high-end group of daycare options for children from 3 months to 11 years across London.

EquiConsulting offer the group website management, SEO, marketing, copy writing and social media services.

Mallet & Co 

EquiConsulting were delighted to be appointed as the new marketing and e-commerce management agency for luxury accessories brand Mallet & Co. Founded by renowned British designer Nicholas Knightley, EquiConsulting will be working with the brand to develop the brand awareness, digital channels and improve customer experience for their website.

Equine Register

Equine Register is the leading provider of national identification, registration and traceability services to the equine industry and governments.  Defra’s partner in delivering and managing the Central Equine Database (CED) and National ChipChecker on behalf of the UK Government and Devolved Administrations.

Sarah was seconded as a Marketing Consultant for the Equine Register in the early stages of the development of their Digital Stable offering.  Sarah provided expertise on gamification and user experience.

Classic Showjumps

EquiConsulting was introduced and recommended to Classic Showjumps by sponsored rider Caroline Powell.  A brand that had been struggling with the content direction for its social media channels.

Sarah was brought in for her industry expertise and social creative skills to create a more engaging social platform that targets B2C end users whilst promoting their B2B sales channel.

Blair Castle International Horse Trials 

EquiConsulting was approached by the Blair team as the recommended partner to deliver an engaging social media strategy for during the event.

EquiConsulting produced and managed a team of onsite and remote content creators and social media managers to deliver multi-channel engagement.

The College Equestrian Keysoe

EquiConsulting took on the sponsorship management and PR/Marketing of Keysoe’s British Eventing and International Dressage and Show Jumping fixtures in late 2017.

Stratford Hills Horse Trials 

EquiConsulting initially built Stratford Hill’s new website in 2015 and supported the local event with social media services.  This is now extended to full website, social media and PR support for the event from 2018 onwards.

Equine Products

EquiConsulting was recommended to Equine Products by Caroline Powell to support the brand with mainstream equestrian social media support and content marketing support, during the 2018 season.

North London Massage Therapy

EquiConsulting were recommended to Joshua Lawton to develop brand guidelines, a marketing strategy and new website for his newly launched massage therapy business in 2020.

A new app development aimed at putting full administrative control and communications in the palm of the hard of livery yard owners and managers.

EquiConsulting are pleased to be development social media channels and a product launch campaign for the tech start up.

The Cotswold Club Equestrian 

A new concept in equestrian facilities that offers a truly 5* experience with a distinctive club feel. EquiConsulting were engaged to design, build and manage the club’s website and social media channels.

During 2020 a new e-commerce platform was added to launch the Club’s own Boutique following the delayed opening due to the pandemic.

Anand Patel – Tower Hill Equestrian

Essex based Dressage yard and home of Anand Patel, EquiConsulting was engaged to build a new website, launch social media channels and produce promotional videos for Tower Hill and Anand.
Significant media coverage was secured for Anand, including a feature interview with Horse & Hound and on-event interviews with Horse & Country TV whilst in Holland.
